The trick here was to expand and update this charming old salt box without ruining its cottage like charm. The old kitchen addition was replaced with a new larger addition with a convered terrace. The back hall was reconfigured to include a wet bar and powder room. The living and dining rooms were remodeled and a new front portico, that looks like it’s always been there, was added.
